Announcements

Registration is open for the 2024 Graduate Instrumentation and Detector School (GRIDS2024) sponsored by TRIUMF and the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute (McDonald Institute), which will take place at TRIUMF in Vancouver, Canada from June 3 - 16, 2024

The registration deadline is Friday March 15, 2024.

About the School:

The University of Connecticut Particle and Nuclear Physics Group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in support of our efforts within the Super BigBite Spectrometer (SBS) Collaboration in Jefferson Lab's Experimental Hall A in Newport News, VA, led by Professor Andrew Puckett. The research is focused on precision studies of nucleon and nuclear structure at large momentum transfers in medium-energy electron-nucleus scattering.

We would like to bring to your attention the announcement in attachment concerning a postdoc position in Toulouse, France.

The Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics (CENPA) at the University of Washington, Seattle has a rare opening for a Research Faculty member at any level (junior to senior) broadly in the area of Experimental Nuclear Physics / Fundamental Symmetries and Neutrinos. For more information, see our ad:

We are happy to share our search for a new Associate Director for the Laboratory for Nuclear Science-MIT-Bates Research and Engineering Center.

The Spin Physics Group at the University of Virginia has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Join our team and contribute to our innovative hadronic physics program working in spin phenomena, artificial intelligence, solid-state polarized target technology, 3D structure of the nucleon, physics beyond the standard model, and future facilities and experiments.

The experimental nuclear physics group at Stony Brook University plan to hire a post doctoral researcher to work on MOLLER Experiment planned at Jefferson National Laboratory.  A doctoral degree is a minimum, and two/three years of experience is preferred. The primary activity of the successful candidate will be the development and construction of GEM detectors, development of DAQ systems, write simulations, reconstruction and analysis software for MOLLER experiment.
